Electricity

Powering Syria since 1988

Electricity is ARIF's founding and principal sector. From 400 kV transmission lines and high-voltage substations to distribution networks, industrial power systems and monument lighting, our teams have delivered the backbone of Syria's grid for more than three decades — often alongside the world's leading manufacturers and EPC contractors.

Capabilities

What we deliver in electricity

Transmission lines

Design, supply and erection of overhead lines up to 400 kV, including tower foundations, stringing, testing and commissioning. ARIF has executed more than 8,000 km of high-voltage lines.

Substations

Turnkey AIS and GIS substations from 20 kV up to 400 kV: civil works, power transformers, switchgear, protection and control, SCADA integration and energisation.

Distribution networks

Medium- and low-voltage networks, packaged and compact substations, cabling, metering and network rehabilitation for cities, industrial zones and new developments.

Electro-mechanical works

Power supply for pumping stations, water treatment plants, refineries and factories — motors, drives, control panels, generators and full electro-mechanical installation.

Monument & architectural lighting

Specialised lighting of monuments, landmarks, facades and public spaces, combining electrical engineering with lighting design.

Trading & supply

Sourcing and supply of electrical equipment, conductors, transformers and switchgear from qualified international manufacturers, with full logistics and customs handling.
